Starting Your LinkedIn Post

To initiate a new LinkedIn post, simply click on the "New Post" button, which is located in the top-right corner of the page. Alternatively, you can click the "Create New Post" link at the bottom of your list of posts. You’ll be given the option to either create a fresh post, upload a CSV file, or leverage the Content AI feature.

To publish a post on LinkedIn, choose LinkedIn from the list of available social platforms.



Crafting Your Content

In the content creation field, you can type in text, upload media, or add hashtags. Experiment with different text formats (bold, italics) and add images or videos before hitting "Publish."

Review your post before publishing by previewing how it will appear on LinkedIn.


Save Draft

If you're not ready to publish, save your post as a draft to return to later.

Posting Options

Once you are ready to post, you have three options:

  • Post Now: Publish your content immediately to the selected LinkedIn accounts.

  • Schedule PostChoose a specific date and time for future posting.

  • Send for Approval: Submit the post for approval within your organization or agency, along with a date and time, and an option to add notes.

To delete any post, click the delete button and confirm, as this action cannot be undone.

Uploading from a CSV File


Click "New Post" and select the "Upload from CSV" option to upload posts in bulk. The CSV format should include the date (YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm: ss), text for captions and hashtags, a link, and media. Images and videos must be comma-separated, with GIFs restricted to one per post. You can upload up to 90 posts per CSV file.

Once the CSV is uploaded, assign an approver to review and approve the posts before they are scheduled in the social calendar.


LinkedIn Posting Requirements

For LinkedIn posts and stories, keep in mind the following:

  • Images: Must be JPEG, PNG, or GIF format, between 10 KB and 5MB in size, with a resolution of at least 250x250 pixels. Up to 9 images can be added per post.

  • Videos: Should be between 10 KB to 5MB in size, with a minimum resolution of 250x250 pixels. Aspect ratios from 4/5 to 16/9 are supported. Up to 9 videos are allowed per post.



Important Note: LinkedIn posts cannot mix media types, so select either an image, GIF, or video for each post.


Content Guidelines

The character limit for LinkedIn posts is 3,000 characters. You can include bold, italic text, emojis, hashtags, and custom values to enhance the post’s engagement.
