Organizing Contacts Using Tags

The tags feature in your CRM is a powerful tool for managing contact information. Tags make it easy to categorize contacts, but they can also automate various actions like merging duplicates, adding contacts to workflows, or sending automated follow-ups. While tags can be created in other areas, you’ll need to access the tags section to modify or delete existing tags.

How to Add a New Tag

To create a new contact tag, click on the "+ New Tag" button. This is an efficient way to generate tags that help you categorize your contacts. You can use tags like "New Lead" or "VIP Client" to differentiate contacts. Simply type the desired tag name and hit "Add."

Searching for Tags

If you need to locate a tag quickly, the search box is your go-to tool. Just enter the tag name into the search field, and it will pull up the relevant tag instantly.

Viewing All Tags

The "Tags" column displays all the tags you've created in your CRM. Each tag is listed along with the associated names you've added.

Tag Creation Date

The "Created On" column gives you the exact date and time each tag was added to the system, offering a clear record of when tags were first created.

Last Updated Information

The "Updated On" column provides details on when a tag was last modified, allowing you to keep track of any recent changes.

Tag Actions Menu

The three dots menu located next to each tag offers options to either edit or delete tags.

Modifying an Existing Tag

To rename a tag, simply select the edit button, and a new window will open, allowing you to make changes quickly and efficiently.

Removing a Tag

To remove one or more tags, click the delete button. Once a tag is deleted, it cannot be restored, so ensure you no longer need it before removal.

Performing Bulk Actions

If you need to delete multiple tags at once, check the boxes next to each tag, then select the delete option. This feature streamlines your workflow by allowing you to remove several tags simultaneously.
