When you first log into your account, you're greeted by the Dashboard. While it's primarily designed to offer a quick snapshot of your system's performance, it can sometimes come across as a bit plain or uninspiring. But don’t worry—you can inject some personality and visual interest by adding images to your dashboard.
Incorporating images can enhance your dashboard's appeal, whether you're aiming to strengthen your brand presence, hide fun surprises for your team, or simply provide visual cues. Let’s walk through the steps to make your dashboard uniquely yours.
Step 1: Enter Edit Mode
Start by clicking the Pencil Icon located in the top right corner of your dashboard. This action will enable the editing mode, allowing you to rearrange and customize your dashboard elements.
Step 2: Add an Image Widget
Next, click on the "Add Widget" button, which will bring up a menu on the left side of your screen containing various widgets and elements. Navigate to the "Elements" tab and choose the "Image" option from the list.
Step 3: Assign a Title (Optional)
You'll begin by assigning a title to your image, which will help identify it on the dashboard. If you prefer not to display the title, you can easily hide it by going into the advanced settings and checking the appropriate box.
Step 4: Upload or Select an Image
To upload an image, click on the lined box. This will open a minimized version of your media library where you can either select an existing image or upload a new one. Once you’ve found the perfect image, simply double-click it to add it to your dashboard.
Step 5: Adjust Image Fit
Customize how the image is displayed within its frame by selecting an option from the "Image Fit" drop-down menu. This setting determines how the image will be sized and positioned within the widget.
Step 6: Finalize Your Changes
Once you’re satisfied with the image and its placement, click "Save" to embed the image onto your dashboard.
Additional Customizations
You can further refine your dashboard by repositioning the title or resizing the image widget. To do this, simply drag the title to a new location or adjust the size by manipulating the widget’s corners.
Once everything looks just right, click "Save Changes" to lock in your adjustments. And there you have it—your dashboard now features customized images! For more tips on personalizing your dashboard, explore the additional articles in this section.
