How to Set Up an Affiliate Campaign

Affiliate marketing campaigns can range from simple one-link setups to more elaborate systems with multiple stages. The configuration of your campaign is a crucial factor in its success. To achieve optimal results, it’s essential to tailor the campaign structure to meet your business goals, audience, and affiliate interactions.


Getting Started with Your Campaign

To kick off the campaign creation process, click the "+Add" button located at the top-right corner of your screen.

Assigning a Campaign Name

Enter a distinctive and memorable name in the "Campaign Name" field. A unique identifier will help you easily manage and distinguish this campaign from others.

Specifying the Lead Source

Choose the source from which your affiliates' leads will be generated. Ensure any related funnels or websites are correctly linked to a domain.

Selecting Eligible Products

Pick the products for which affiliate commissions will apply. Keep in mind that the campaign can only go live once the required products and affiliates have been chosen.

Feel free to save your campaign at any point and return later to add the necessary affiliates and products.

Click "Next" to move to the commission settings, which apply if a funnel or website is chosen as the source. This section will be skipped if you select forms, surveys, or calendars.

Decide on the commission rate, which is the percentage of each sale that affiliates will earn. You can customize the commission percentage for different products, ensuring a fair reward for affiliates based on their contributions.

Create multiple earning tiers within the same campaign. This tier system allows you to categorize affiliates by different levels of earnings.

Hit "Save" to finalize the details of your affiliate tier system.


Providing a Campaign Overview

Use the "Campaign Description" section to give a brief summary of your campaign’s purpose and key objectives. This will help ensure all involved parties have a clear understanding of the campaign's mission.

Adding Affiliates to Your Campaign

Select from the list of available affiliates to add them to your campaign. Each affiliate will receive a unique link for tracking purposes, and they can participate in multiple campaigns simultaneously, with a distinct tracking link for each one.

Choosing an Onboarding Email Template

From the email template dropdown, select the template you’ll use to onboard new affiliates and provide them with promotional instructions.

Determining Cookie Duration

Set the number of days the tracking cookie will remain active in the lead’s browser. This setting ensures accurate tracking of lead activities over a specified period.

Setting Payout Frequency

Choose how often affiliate payments will be processed. This allows you to control the payout schedule and manage affiliate compensation according to your cash flow and preferences.

Enabling Setup Fee Commissions

If any of your products include setup fees, you can toggle this option to include those fees in the affiliate’s commission calculation.

Configuring Sub-Affiliate Options

For campaigns with multiple affiliate tiers, you can activate sub-affiliate forms. Additionally, you can choose to automatically enroll new customers as sub-affiliates under the referring affiliate.

Finalizing Your Campaign

The last step is to either publish your campaign or save it as a draft for later. If everything is set, click "Publish Now." If you’re not ready to make the campaign live yet, save it as a draft.
